Sponsored content.
Technical audiences read sponsored material when it is genuinely useful and clearly marked. Both conditions are enforced here, which is what keeps the format worth buying.
Formats
Three ways to publish sponsored material across the network.
Format
Sponsored article
Long-form technical writing under your name, published on the relevant title with a Sponsored label and your organisation identified at the top.
Format
Sponsored section
A clearly labelled sponsored section within an ETA Intel Magazine edition, set apart from editorial, in the spring or autumn edition.
Format
Research underwriting
Underwriting a defined research report. The support is disclosed on the report itself, and the editorial scope, method, and conclusions stay with us.
How it is labelled
Every sponsored item carries a Sponsored label at the top, names the sponsoring organisation, and is set in a style that is visually distinct from editorial. The label travels with the item wherever it appears, including in search results and social previews.
Sponsored material never enters a tracker, a tracker reading, or a research report, and it is excluded from our editorial feeds. A reader scanning coverage will not encounter it as though it were reporting.
What we will not publish
Performance claims we cannot trace to a source. If a figure appears in your piece, it needs the same sourcing any figure of ours would need, including the development stage it refers to. A laboratory result presented as a shipping specification will be sent back.
Direct attacks on named competitors, and copy written to read as our reporting rather than as your own. We edit sponsored material for accuracy and clarity, and we will decline a piece rather than run one that misleads on either count.
