The publisher

Editorial standards.

What readers are entitled to expect from every ETA Intel title, and the line between our editorial work and the commercial side that funds it.

01Who decides what is covered

Coverage is set by the editor of each title. Story selection follows what matters to readers making hardware decisions: certified results, licensing milestones, capacity commitments, and programme failures. No party outside the editorial team proposes, approves, or vetoes a subject.

02No pre-publication review

Organisations we cover do not see copy before it publishes. They receive no advance sight, no approval rights, and no opportunity to amend wording. Where we put a specific criticism to a company, we take their response and reflect it in the piece, which is not the same as handing over the draft.

03Coverage is never for sale

We do not accept payment for editorial coverage in any form: not for an article, not for inclusion in a tracker, not for position in a ranking or directory sort. Anyone who offers is declined, and repeat approaches are grounds for refusing their advertising as well.

04How sponsored content is labelled

Commercial material carries a Sponsored label at the top of the item, names the sponsor, and is set in a visually distinct style from editorial. It never appears in a tracker, tracker reading, or research report, and is excluded from our editorial feeds.

05Advertisers have no influence

Buying advertising, a directory listing, or an advisory engagement buys none of our judgement. Advertisers are not told what is coming, cannot request coverage, and cannot request that coverage be withheld. A commercial relationship with a covered organisation is disclosed on the pages where that coverage appears.

06Sourcing and attribution

Claims are attributed to their source and ranked by the hierarchy set out in our methodology. Independently certified measurement outranks vendor material. Where a figure cannot be corroborated, it is published as unverified rather than presented as established.

07Right of reply

Organisations materially criticised in our coverage are given an opportunity to respond before publication where circumstances allow, and their response is carried in the published piece.

08Use of AI tools

Automated tools may assist with research, drafting, and data processing. Every published figure and every conclusion is reviewed by a named human editor who is accountable for its accuracy. No tracker reading is generated without human review.
